Individual Giving Opportunities

• Monthly Giving Program: To participate, you would make an automatic monthly donation through VISA, MasterCard, Discover or American Express. If you wish to donate by check on a monthly basis, you may contact us to request monthly coupons which can be mailed in with your donation. As a monthly donor you will receive materials and updates on the home and the children’s achievements and milestones throughout the year. • Giving Clubs: For those individuals who would like to make a substantial commitment to the mission of El Ranchito de los Niños, we offer yearly membership in our Giving Clubs. Special benefits and recognition are offered to members of these clubs. Membership in any of the Giving Clubs is automatic once you reach a certain cumulative giving history for the calendar year.

• Endowment Giving: For those who wish to make a lasting contribution to the home, we greatly appreciate donations to the El Ranchito de los Niños Endowment Fund. In order to ensure that financial support will exist to honor our long-term commitment to our children, the Endowment Fund was established to provide a permanent source of funding for years to come through long term investing of contributions and making planned distributions to the home’s programs and children as needed. In addition to cash, the endowment also accepts gifts of stock, life insurance policies, bequests and other forms of planned giving. Endowment donations can be made to the general endowment fund for future unrestricted use or to specific designations, chosen by the donor, such as the educational endowment fund. • Planned Giving. Planned Giving (sometimes called deferred giving) is the method of making a charitable contribution to a not-for-profit organization planned in advance. It is also a way for donors to make charitable gifts and receive benefits and acknowledgement for their generosity during their lifetime. There are many different types of planned gifts using many types of assets. Some of these gift types include charitable gift annuities, deferred gift annuities, gifts of stock and securities, pooled income funds, charitable remainder trusts, wills and bequests, charitable lead trusts and life insurance policies. Your personal financial situation is unique, so you should be sure to contact a professional advisor for help, such as a certified financial planner, an accountant or attorney who specializes in estate planning. • Living Tribute Program: Let the memory of a special person live on through our Living Tribute Program. Giving a contribution in the name of someone who has passed away is a beautiful way to pay tribute to his or her love of children and the farm or ranch environment. The memory of a loved one lives on in our home and our efforts to provide children with a family and a special place to grow up. • Honoring Contributions: You can give contributions in honor of anniversaries, birthdays, graduations, weddings or other special occasions. A contribution given in someone’s honor is a beautiful way of commemorating a special day or event, or just giving thanks for someone special in your life. • Workplace Giving Opportunities - Matching Gifts Program: Make your gift go twice or even three times as far! If your place of work has a Matching Gifts Program, they will match the dollars you donate. It’s really that simple. Every dollar makes a difference and with the Matching Gift Program only a fraction of your gift needs to come out of your own pocket. It’s usually just a matter of filling out a form from your employer. Greater Albuquerque area corporations who match gifts include PNM, General Mills, Intel, Sandia National Labs, UNM and many others. National corporations may include insurance, health care companies and other large employers. Check with your employer’s Human Resources Department to inquire about matching gifts.
   
• United Way: Did you know that you can designate a portion of your United Way contribution to any not-for-profit organization? (The organization does not need to be a “United Way Agency.”) If you participate in the United Way Annual Campaign, you may request that a portion of your gift goes to El Ranchito de los Niños. You are now able to support your community with a contribution to the great work of the United Way and also make a contribution directly to us. Other Special Gifts: In addition to the above giving opportunities, El Ranchito de los Niños also encourages and solicits support for festivities throughout the year as “Holiday Helpers.” You can offer donations of time, money, gifts or decorations for the home for the holidays or birthday celebrations for the children. Sponsorship of the quarterly newsletter to cover printing and postage costs, would also be appreciated. There are also a variety of other special projects for the home that need funding.
